XLS & XLS Solid Color yacht braids are the lowest stretch and highest strength double braided polyester lines available. Our XLS premium double braid, can be used for the cruiser sailor that requires extra low stretch performance as well as the cruiser/racer for certain applications.
As a stronger, more abrasion resistant product than our LS Yacht Braid, XLS is a performance oriented polyester double braid. It is the best double braided all polyester line on the market today. XLS remains flexible under user, is colorfast, has ultraviolet protection and is fade resistant.

Description:
2-in1 braided polyester rope. Cover is braided with white spun polyester cover with veriegated red and greed ID.
All diameters of Trophy Braid are double braided lines. Trophy Braid utilizes a spun polyester cover, mostly used in sheeting applications where a high grip or hand is required.
The soft, fuzzy cover makes the line easier to grip and holds well in cam and jam cleats. It also provides a more solid grip on wince drums, especially under wet conditions. Due to its feel, Trophy is often selected for sheets.

SM Ultra-Lite also features Pro-Guard 1000 marine finish to give added wear life to the MFP Cover.
Lighter than 100% polyester double braids, sailors can realize up to 26% savings in rope weight, while retaining the same breaking strength and have less stretch than other braids.
